The Last House on the Left: 2009 remake gets limited edition Blu-ray release

Arrow Video is giving the 2009 remake of The Last House on the Left a limited edition Blu-ray release this summer

Five years ago, Arrow Video gave a two-disc limited edition Blu-ray release to writer/director Wes Craven’s 1972 feature debut The Last House on the Left. Directed by Dennis Iliadis from a screenplay by Adam Alleca and Carl Ellsworth, The Last House on the Left (2009) has the following synopsis: The night she arrives at the remote Collingwood lakehouse, Mari and her friend are kidnapped by a prison escapee and his crew. Terrified and left for dead, Mari’s only hope is to make it back to parents John and Emma. Unfortunately, her attackers unknowingly seek shelter at the one place she could be safe. And when her family learns the horrifying story, they will make three strangers curse the day they came to “The Last House on the Left.”

The film stars Tony Goldwyn, Monica Potter, Garret Dillahunt, Aaron Paul, Spencer Treat Clark, Riki Lindhome, Martha MacIsaac, Michael Bowen, and Sara Paxton.
